Acceptance
By using Evenly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you should not use the app.
Use of the app
Evenly is designed to help households make completed work more visible. The app is not a legal, financial, medical, mental health, or relationship advice service.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping access to your account and device secure. You should provide accurate account information and only join households where you are authorized to participate.
Household content
Users are responsible for the tasks, rewards, notes, names, and other information they add to a household. You should not add unlawful, harmful, abusive, private, or misleading content.
Points and balance
Points, balances, and suggestions are product features intended to support conversation. They are not official measurements of value, work, money, entitlement, or obligation, and users can edit point values.
Rewards
Rewards are informal household agreements between users. Evenly does not enforce rewards outside the app and is not responsible for whether household members honor them.
Notifications
If enabled, Evenly may send push notifications about important household activity. You can disable notifications in the app or through your device settings.
Availability and changes
Evenly may change, pause, or discontinue features as the product develops. We try to keep the service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
Third-party services
Evenly relies on third-party services such as app stores, authentication providers, hosting, databases, and push notification delivery. Their own terms and policies may also apply.
Account deletion and termination
You may delete your account from the app. We may suspend or restrict access if needed to protect users, the service, or legal compliance.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Evenly is provided as is and without warranties. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when the product or legal requirements change. Continued use of Evenly after changes means you accept the updated terms.
